Willie Shepherd
Willie Shepherd works to identify, manage, and plan for risks, and strategically plan creative solutions to potential problems. Willie also manages subcontractor compliance including contracts, insurance, and bonds. Further, Willie works on drafting and revising complex commercial agreements such as including Master Service Agreements, Vendor Agreements, Strategic Partnering Agreements, Licensing Agreements and other agreements. He negotiates contractual relationships, and complex commercial deals Mr. Shepherd also represent the company or its officials in legal proceedings.
As the Vice President of Development of Burgess Community Development and leaning on more than a decade of experience in development, Mr. Shepherd guides the Burgess Community Development multifamily development portfolio, overseeing the current ground-up multifamily pipeline and manages the research, negotiation and construction stages. He also serves as the primary contact for partners and investors through project construction until assets are transitioned to owners.
Mr. Shepherd received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and his law degree from Tulane University Law School.
